The band Murdertrap started in the year of 2004 at marine corp base okinawa japan. My name is E-sean Simpson I will be giving the Biography of the band. I had just came to okinawa and was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. When I had ran into a weird character know as Josh, Drakendim, Moore. This guy talked to me as if he had known me for years. "So what do you know about metal" Said Drake. My response was the same as all. A slight snicker at him as if it was offending. " What do you know?" I said contradicting him. " I heard you wanted to started a band or a so called rumor, but do you have the heart to keep on it." Drake said. My thoughts were what does it matter to you. Well because I play guitar. Do you want to start a band or sit there like you dont hear me. "Lets go see what you got." The band had started form just one conversation of a rumor. I met a good friend of Drakes known as Lee Pyromanic Nestelbush. He was a bassist and a guitarist he showed us what he had. The band had started with three. Drake, Lee and I became good friends from there on out. We had started out doing a song that Drake had wrote when he was nine years old. "Footsteps of the Dead" "I have not met anybody that can make any lyrics to this song, and this is your test. You have tested us both now it is your turn to see what your made of." So he played it through and I began to write lyrics in my room with them playing. Drake had a small marshall amp and Lee had a small bass amp. We had a laptop and a recording program to record the song to see were we had problems at. So I had pulled Up the microphone and starting screaming to the song. Drakes eyes lit up as if he had found somebody that he has been looking for a long time that had a passion for metal music. I had finished the song. The song eneded up being really good. So we went on from there working on our music. We had thrown a show about a month later with a band known as "Tendency to Fall" They were good but they had did alot of cover songs. They did not have much of there own material. They doubted the band and I. So Drake and I had practiced from 4:00pm to 4:00 am everyday getting our music down. Are determination to show that we had passion for what we did. We had ran into a guy named " Steve Daguezeman" he was a drummer he came to us saying " I watched you guys your good but your missing something." I am thinking yeah a drummer but we are not that lucky I have been looking for one for a month now I have not found one. Well to find out he was a drummer. So Drake and I show us what you got we had purchased a drum set and all the necessary items for the concert. He auditioned for us and opened up with " Hammer Smash Face- Cannibal Corpse." To prove hed could play and play double bass pedals. So we got a drummer and did the concert. It eneded up being a hit. There was alot of people there. At the time we had about 10 songs. So we should that we had the heart to do music. So we moved onto perfecting things and having fun doing it we maded "Colorful Yet Faded" Are demo cd self produced to give people a taste of what we are. People loved the CD we had took alot of time the only problem was it was not the greatest quality. So I had to go do other things I was gone for 6 months. I came back Drake Said that people keep asking him that they want Colorful Yet Faded redone. They Liked and they wanted a new CD. So we did and this time we professional recorded it. We handed them out over 250 copies of our cd were gone in less then a hour. The word Spread All over te island about Murdertrap. Everytime a band played people were like was that you guys. we would say no I am working on the new CD for you all. Everybody wanted to hear murdertrap preform, but with so many things going on it made it hard to do things. The Cd I was making and writing. The parties we had to appear at because people wanted us to appear. Other bands would ask for me to sing with them. I did people noticed that murdertrap supported metal bands all of them. We were respected for it. I had gave my cd to a guy who worked at 7th Heaven his take on the cd was he liked and wanted us to proform at Bloodfest. We could not make it because Drake and me had issues to attend to. But are music was played through intermissions. Drake and I had wrote Abaddon the new cd the Cd is still taking a while as of now and is not done yet but be prepared when it is done then we are going to get to work on The Retribution and start playing in the states. Vengence Be Thy Name be prepared the Murdertrap will rise and we will not let it fail you will see us one day.
