Bio
Don Charbonneau is a singer/songwriter who lives on the North shore of Lake Superior in the small Northern Ontario town of Wawa. His work as a wilderness and fishing guide and his reverence of nature are reflected in his song writing and music. He has played many “great campfire and kitchen table” concerts in his career and under the coaxing of fans, friends and family decided to start recording his songs. In 2004 his first album “Songs From the Coastline” was released and quickly sold out and 2005” Wildwood/Through Tom’s Eyes” was created - this album celebrates the life of the great Canadian wildnerness landscape artist Tom Thomson. His “Northern Highway” CD was released in May of 2006 and his new album " Gitcheegume / Land of Mishibizschew" will be released sometime in June 2007. Don prefers the small concert venues and house concerts.
