Born and raised in St. Maarten, MatchStick was introduced to a life style that not many people in the world get to experince. Since living in a primarily black island MatchStick was never accepted as a local islander. Growing up in Maho/Simpson Bay was a simple life until he started to wander the streets and following the wrong crowd. He started to get into smoking and gang banging to be accepted. He then one day heard his brother and his friends sitting outside his house freestyling and he liked seeing it and wanted to learn how to freestyle. He was then given the name MatchStick from one of his brothers friends Lepracon. From then started up his first group the "Lil Rascalz" at the age of 13 with two of his friends Dennis Idler AKA Remix, who eventually after serveral nick name changes ended up with Dennis Da Menace, and Eion Vandonbosch AKA E, who also had several nick name changes and ended up in the end with the name Lazy. He was with the group just writing songs until the age of 15 when he then left the group and started up another which were the "3-5-7 Boiz" who consisted of Lucien AKA KollahBone and Manaudi AKA Macnolia who went to the island wide talent show and won third place in the rapping category. From that point his rapping career started to grow, and he started his own label NightLife ENtertainment, and as we got better there were several problems with the 3-5-7 Boiz due to too many people claiming themselves to be a 3-5-7 Boi so it was time for a name change and it ended up to be "Locked N Loaded" which consisted of George Martin AKA G Wattz, Lazy, KollahBone, Macnolia, and MatchStick. Later on Macnolia left the group to go start his own group the "lil Warriorz". Then one day Federico Gadda AKA Lunatic said he wanted to rap and since he was a good friend to everyone in the group we gave him a chance and he started off bad and showed us all in a couple of months that he was capable of doing his thing coming out with some hot tracks he had made up himself such as "Money Thick". From there we started preforming at local bars and at parties to get our name out there. After that we dropped our first CD "Locked N Loaded Mixtape Volume 1" which we sold at local areas for $5 a copy. Now we are currently in production with our second CD and are going to drop it hopefully sometime this year.
