Urban Evolver are a Sydney based outfit driven by Martin O’Donoghue and Dale Warren. For the past 12 months Dale and Martin have been honing their own style of original pop/rock, based around driving guitars, complex rhythms, modern sounds and edgy lyrics. The result is "5 PAST MIDNIGHT", Urban Evolver's first EP. Martin and Dale have combined their musical experience from here in Australia and Martin's home country of Canada, to produce a unique and highly accessible, commercial sound. The influences of Urban Evolver have produced a range of tracks that are at home on the dance floor, ("The Real Deal", "Better Be Bad To Me"), to driving rock, ("True Reflection", "A Mind Game"), and commercial pop, ("After Dark"), that are quite at home with each other on this EP. Urban Evolver has also just released our new single, "What the Hell is goin on!". This song is a hard-rockin' political anthem that aims it's sights squarely at the worlds current political and social chaos.
