I had never really paid serious attention to the lyrics John wrote and what message he was trying to say because I couldn’t understand English. It is only a few years ago that it all came out to me like a huge tsunami. Wow! John’s message is simply “Imagine”. It’s in my head ever since. It took me a while to understand the powerful and true meaning of it. I heard you are a little bit behind it? Aren’t you? Anyway, I started to imagine and ever since I feel like I am reaching my dream more and more day after day. I imagine constantly. I imagine peace in the world. I imagine what humanity would be if one could love each other… I feel it is time for John’s message to reborn. That is why I wrote “Lennon, Lennon”, a tribute, to him, yourself dear Yoko and of course “Imagine”. I swear I know what imagine means now. I imagined you reading these lines 7 years ago. I also imagined I would some day compose the perfect song to tell John and the whole world that his message has not totally been understood 36 years later and that we should all listen to it again. Wars are raging all over the world, still! I am scared. Aren’t you? “Piano” will, I hope, calm, allay, appease, placate and salve along with “Imagine”.
