Born in London, Lloyd's singing career began at the age of 10 by the age of 15 he began composing songs, and by the age of 20 he'd sung in many choirs notably Bishop John Francis's APC. In 1987 he co-founded Heart & Soul, in which he was lead singer alongside the young diva Michelle John Robinson. between 1987 and 1994 Heart & Soul did concerts throughout the UK, performing with John Francis at the Royal Albert Hall, and with Lavine Hudson before her carreer took her to the USA. Which is where Lloyd moved shortly afterwards. In the USA, Lloyd was equally active as a lead chorister and composer, in 1998 becoming the fifth member of celebrated American gospel group "Arise" shortly after its debut album. with pride Lloyd also remembers being a backing vocalist for the legendary Isaac Hayes recording some material at KISS FM, New York, for use on that station. Lloyd and his family then moved to Hong Kong in 2000, where inspite of a more limited scene for the music, Lloyd was active in theatrical productions and churches, on the radio, and in many venues in Hong Konh and Macao. Returning at last to the UK. In 2005 Lloyd is coming back onto the scene with appearances at the Marlborough Jazz Festival and the 606 Club in London.
