Van – Vocals Mitchell – Guitar/Vocals Stu – Bass Andy – Drums CM45 were formed in 2005 CM45 have appeared all over the country at gigs including The Isle of Wight, Cardiff, 3 different venues in Harlow, The Tek (a new venue in Dagenham) and the Hertford Marquee. All of which have asked the band to come back and play again. July sees more gigs in St Albans (headlining), Hertford and in August the band are headlining the Harlow Youth Festival celebrations. It was a great thrill for the band when they were asked by Harlow Town Football Club to produce a theme song which is used to announce the arrival of the teams at each Home match. This song is called “Harlow Boys”. Many fans and listeners of the band have defined CM45 to play in the style of U2, with anthemic vocals and textural guitar supported by punchy bass and drums which fits into genre of Rock/Post Punk/Alternative Rock. All the songs are written by the band and the range shows a broad spectrum of exciting sound. Mitchell moved to the Isle of Wight in late 2006 and I.O.W Radio became aware of the band’s music where it is now regularly heard on the air and they have frequent mentions on programs. This has grown the interest from listeners on the Island and from around the country via the stations online facility. This June saw a fantastic accolade given to the band when they played at the most vaunted ISLE of WIGHT FESTIVAL bandstand at the request of JOHN GIDDINGS the Promoter. CM45 are the band of the FUTURE www.myspace.com/cm45
