PASTOR ANNA NEAL - Minister of Music A licensed and ordained minister, Pastor Anna Neal, is a preacher, psalmist, musician, vocalist, arranger, and recording artist. Pastor Anna has been arousing the passions of music lovers worldwide with a dynamic style and powerful presence all her own, inspired by and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. She is a signed Artist with Tate Music Group and has completed her debut CD, “Breakthrough,” to be released in Spring, 2012. She spent her childhood growing up on the streets of Compton, in South Central Los Angeles. In addition to being raised by her parents, the Gospel of Jesus Christ was instilled in her at a very early age. Part of that upbringing included music, a staple of her family. Her father, Deacon Donald Neal was a singer in a group called the Creators (doo-woop singing group of the 1960s). She is the niece of a member of the famous Vibrations (Hang on Sloopy) and her mother, Gloria, was a songbird in her own right taught Pastor Anna to find the message in the music. After a relatively short stint in San Diego, Pastor Anna opened for the famous Stylistics in 1996. She was dubbed, San Diego’s Best Female Vocalist, Rhythm & Blues, and appeared on the first airing of the cable-television show, “Singsations,” in 1996. She recently auditioned with nearly 20,000 vocalists in southern California for a spot on X Factor USA, and was successful up to the video taped Executive Producer rounds. Shortly thereafter she competed in the State Finals of the television show Karaoke Battles. Upon earning her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Pastor Anna pursued a career in law and returned to her native South Central where she worked as a Legal Analyst for several years. Soon she realized that there was a real void in her life that she could not fill with degrees, and career success. Pastor Anna, was inspired by the Holy Spirit to seek and achieve a deeper and more meaningful study of the word of GOD, and has been called and chosen to deliver the Good News as a preacher, teacher, psalmist, and vocalist. She is excited about the calling on her life and is looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in her life!
