Frank Valdez Multi-instrumentalist Born in San Antonio, TX, Frank has spent a lifetime developing his skills as a professional musician. From his first gig at the age of 16 to the present, Frank has performed in a variety of venues with groups ranging from Jazz duo to Army Concert Bands both here and abroad. Beginning with the saxophone, he began expanding his musical skills at an early age with learning how to play the flute and clarinet. After joining the Army he quickly became the featured performer. While enjoying the military musician lifestyle he was also ever-present in the civilian market performing with local musicians. After 10 years in the Army his interest turned towards percussion instruments. After six months of on-the-job training, he became the only Army Bandsman to be awarded the secondary job description of 02M-Percussionist. 30 years after his first gig as a professional musician, Frank Valdez now resides in south Atlanta and continues to perform and record with local area musicians. From solo performances on saxophone to studio sessions on drums with \"As We Dream\", he is always on the look-out for his next opportunity to perform.
