LaRose Is one of the more real urban songstresses out there. She is this young fierceful black women who has aspired from an early age to make music her life . Her singing aspirations really began at age five standing in front of the family putting on shows in the living room with any available microphone. LaRose got her first taste of performing while singing in a Baptist church choir. Her early musical aptitude is not surprising when one considers her musical background her father was a vocalist in church as well. LaRose grew up in a predominantly wealthy white neighborhood, being the only black family on the block that lived on limited means, she had very meager beginnings but her family always found a way to survive. LaRose was raised by very strong women who greatly impacted her life. She had no father figure to look up to because he abandoned her when she was little. While growing up she was inspired by so many great musical influences from Fred Hammond to LeAnn Rimes. She has love and respect for all music genres. LaRose is new to songwriting and has come into her own, with themes of love, lust, heartache, and partying. She is very in tune with herself and has come to make music of the R&B/Soul/Gospel, genre infused with a little Hip-Hop flavor. LaRose has dreams to one day kick down the music industry barricade and bring a new sound to the table and climb the music industry ladder very diligently and create a new image.
