Rhonda Fister aka , “Sista Fista”, is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, guitarist and worship leader who grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL. Her love of music and natural talent are rooted in her background from her father’s side in Kentucky where they used their musical gifts in the church. Currently, Rhonda is working on her sophomore project, focusing on the unfailing love, grace and mercy of God. This project reminds us, that we have been set free and should celebrate our freedom through Christ. In January 2013, Rhonda performed a few of her songs off her current project down in Nashville Tn, for the venue, Band With A Mission. Nathan Walters from Multi Tone Musik states, “Rhonda’s music is very heartfelt.” In 2012, inspired by the Holy Spirit and her passion to spread the Good News of the Gospel through music, Rhonda set out to release her freshman project, “Threads of Hope”, available through download. As, time went by, she once again felt a need to further her evangelizing through music, to the masses, and began to collaborate with Hyly Favored Productions. Together, they have came up with a wonderful mix of Contemporary Christian music, with hints of rock and roll and a little country and hip hop undertone. This album promises to touch every genre of music! What a refreshing take, from this little blonde, who looks a little country, but has a whole lotta soul, ie …the nickname, “Sista Fista”.
