I been on the mic since I was about 15. I'd say at 15 I made my first song in a studio. I've always had a thing for music. When I was a young buck I used to memorize the lyrics to all the hits on the radio. Inspirations to me are Mac Dre, Tupac, E-40, San Quinn, Mistah Fab, Keak the Sneak, and the Mob Figaz and every artist in the bay doing their independent thing. Micheal Jackson, Bob Marley, Elvis Presley, an even Johnny Cash. I give mad respect to artists who made a huge impact on music. My ears always been open to many types of music. I used to record songs from the radio on blank cassettes, I couldn't afford a trip to Sam Goody. I had a 5 dollar walkman from Wal Mart. My cassette dubbing and my 5 dollar walk man got the job done. In high school I used to write raps during class. It was dope because while I wrote the raps I'd look so focused it seemed like I was doing work. It was just not their work. Writing has always been a skill to me. I started recording with my cousins Pelon and Dynamyte. We bought a four track and a mic and began recording. Our group was called the Young Buccs. We gained experience from our four track and finally got into a labb ( studio). We made a mix tape in 2002-3. Released it through our town Pittsburg, Ca and began a Lil buzz for ourselves. After that we hooked up with Five Hunnet a talented artist and producer out of Oakland Ca. He had a cool vibe and we had an instant connection and wanted to go in the same direction with our music. He produced our album, "Blunt Rapz". We pushed our album independently in local stores and out the trunk, also out of our back packs. The album was also a nice buzz. We had an article in a local magazine called "Murder Dog." I was 18 at the time and when I was 19 I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and didn't have the money nor grades for college so I joined the Marines. In the Marines a made connections with different MC's who joined the Marines for the same reasons, money for school, which led to good careers. These guys were from Atlanta,Texas, Cleveland, and Florida. We had set up studios in the barracks recording and sending tracks back home. I went to Iraq twice and made it back safely. I got honorably discharged at the age of 24. I came back to the bay area and began to hit up college. I was making songs with my group, working with my boy Charizma, who is also another dope MC/Producer. I met back up with Five Hunnet and told him I wanted to knock some dust off his mic. I also told him I wanted to go a different way with my music. Wanted to step outside the box a Lil bit and kinda combine a house and trance sound with a hip hop foundation. In the game I see a lot of the same stuff going on so I kinda wanna shake it up a Lil bit. I been collaborating with Five Hunnet and we been really rockin'. We got a good connection and wanna take this music to another level. I'm working on the J Flight EP Actual Factual. Yal gonna here me soon some way or another.
