Bio

Alexander is an astonishingly talented vocalist who is often called a Josh Groban, Pavarotti or Michael Bublè. He can perform in most genres of music, such as classical crossover, operatic pop, pop rock, easy listening, etc. Favourite genre: classically influenced pop with Josh Groban being his favourite artist. Alexander's voice is rather developed for an 19-year-old since his studio performances require little to no tuning. That doesn't mean that he doesn't seek constant improvement and constructive criticism in all areas. He is no stranger to the stage. "I feel at home on stage, it doesn't matter if I sing for an audience of 5 or a thousand". Winning the Allegretto Gospel Idols, 2nd in the Allegretto Idols, overall winner in the Allegretto high school category, and finalist in the East Rand Stereo 93.9 Showcase competition. Performing in Stoffberg High School's Revues for the past 5 years, the lead singer for the last 2 and performing at the Mardigras Theatre @ Carnival City last year. He has also performed at the Springs Civic theatre and the Pierneef theatre in Pretoria. He has been applauded by many well-known adjudicators such as Lianie May, Bobby van Jaarsveldt, Liesl du Toit, etc.
