My dad was a bluegrass musician and my mom was a dance organist for many years. While I have no "official" musical training, I 've spent a lot of time listening, practising, and learning. I have been writing the words and music for my own songs for years. I have recently teamed up with another lyricist and we have created several songs to date. Writing new music to someone else's words in an exciting challenge that I truly enjoy. Dreams and Rock in a Hearthplace are two such songs. I think these represent some of the best work we have done. Mexico! is a fun little tune that is all mine. Ole'! The other songs (Sunshine, The Rose)are ones you may recognize and were not written by me, but are covers that I like and give an idea of where I come from muscially.
