Born in Cincinnati, Ohio Johnny Brooks is a Composer/ Jazz Musician/ Song Writer of the Smooth Jazz Genre. Johnny Studied Classical music from Bethoven, Choplin to Bach and many other jazz musicians as a student. Released a CD in 1993 Entitled "The Family Tribe" Featuring various R&B artist and Rappers from the Sacramento, CA area. My Musical Influences include My Music Instructor/ God mother Helen Ruth Watts "RIP" Auntie, Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun, Brain Culbertson. I love Composing & Writing Smooth Jazz instrumentals that are catchy to the ear that will leave you hipnotized by the hook of the song Primarily.
