If it is Culture that you seek, he will deliver. If it is Family values and love He will take you there in His music. Glen Nembhard is writing music that is second to none. With his Jamaican rhythms mixed with Contemporary and Hip Hop cross over, he creates music that is universal to everyone - excluded to none. Glen Nembhard was born in Manchester, Jamaica. Some may recognize Manchester as being home of reggae music greats, such as Mr Toney Rebel, the late great Mr. Garnet Silk and many many more. He migrated to Canada at the age of 14 where he continued his education. He first launched out onto the music scene in 1993 by entering the Jamaica song writing/ Dub Poet and DJ's Competition. In 1995 he was runner-up from amongst 25 contestants and in 1996 composed the popular theme song " Better Than This". That same year he released his first album "Standing On My Own" Due to the success Glen was awarded the prestigious award as Best New Male Vocalist from the Canadian Reggae Music Organization. In December 2002 He was also the winner of the Mega-Flyte gospel song writing competition for his original song "Changed". Today Glen especially takes pride in writing songs about issues that will open the eyes of people of all race and culture, songs about God's love, Family values, love and respect for each others or simply writing songs from his heart to reach the hearts of everyone.
