I'm a composer. I use computer software for composition and performance/playback. I prefer to work directly in musical notation. Basically, I just sit at my computer and write musical scores via notation. I'm currently using a notation-based composition/score editor software program to help me to realize my sound palette. 'Notion' samples the London Symphony Orchestra as recorded in Abbey Road Studios, delivering the samples entirely within the context of musical notation.
