Bio
Undreay Rogers was born in Starkville, Mississippi where he began singing at the age of 10 years old. He realized at a young age that God had a special anointing on his life to minister through music. In his early life, he was a faithful member of his youth choir, praise team and choir. He’s been fortunate to sing with gospel artists such as: Karen Clark-Sheard, Rev. James Moore, Kim McFarland, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong and others. He attended Mississippi State University, where he majored in Music Education with an emphasis on voice. He currently uses what he has learned in ministry and school by doing workshops, music clinics and singing at numerous events. In 2005, Undreay was the first winner of the UPN/MS Search for a Superstar where he was in many newspapers and radio spots. In 2005, Undreay had an integral part in working with the Peter’s Rock Temple Mass Choir’s first recording titled: “Standing in the Need”, where he sang the single: “Alright” which spent a record setting 25 weeks in the top 5 requested songs of the day. Undreay went on in 2008 to enter the Word Network’s Gospel FOCUS (Find Out Can U Sing) National Gospel Talent Search where he came in 2nd place out of over 300 people who auditioned. Later the same year, Undreay recently was given the privilege of recording with producer Tommy Gunn (Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp, Kim Rutherford, DeLeon Richards, Joann Rosario, CeCe Winans) where he recorded the song “Only You”. Undreay acknowledges that he has a calling from God to minister to hurting men and women all over the world. He is committed to taking the word of God through music to the masses by presenting the transparent and awe inspiring word of God.
