Bio
I started writing music when I was about 11 years old. I was inspired by the hip-hop genre. I remember walking around school playgrounds with my portable walkman. I began to buy RAP CD singles which always came with instrumental tracks, Note: this was before MP3's & Napster came out. So it was harder to find songs out there with no lyrics.I would always have mini spiral note pad and pencil in my back pocket whipping it out jotting verses I thought sounded good. I would practice and practice and finally, once I had a song memorized I would RAP it out loud in front of classmates or family members. I was always addicted to the kudos obtained by these performances. That and I also had A.D.H.D. By the time I hit Jr. high, I was performing live on stage with my instrumentals singing in talent shows. I remember working for the boys & girls club, I ended up performing for all the kids there. When I hit high school, I got into sports. Taking football to the next level I became friends with a fellow linemen who happened to be a drummer. He herd me rapping in the lockers and since Rap Metal was popular at the time, he invited me to his studio to Jam out with him and his brother who played guitar. It only took one jam session to realize we're all sticking together and forming a band. We all dropped out football and used our time to practice in the studio after school instead. Well, we eventually did form a serious Rap Metal band and began playing gigs in Phoenix. We also played several times for my high school talent shows. I felt like a teenage Rock Star, everyone knew who I was, I had girls calling my cell day-n-night, hugging me in the hallways at school and knocking at my moms door. It was the best years of my life. Well, when high School ended, the band ended too. I went to college for Film & broadcasting because I wanted to make music videos, I put music on hold and began to further my education studies. Now that college is done, I've been trying to score a career in in the field I got my degree in. Until then I'm creating my own music and supplying them with films to build a phenomenal portfolio. So they say you need 10,000 hours of practice, or just need to be outstanding at selling yourself. Don't know, until then, I hope you dig my music, I will continue to make more and hope you buy my album some day. I need to get back to what I had in high school, just as an adult now!
