Introducing “Da Silencer” Larry Brown also known as “Da Silencer” was born in Clearwater, Florida to a mother of six, who worked two jobs sometime three, two support her family. The lack of not having while growing up, led to the passion that you hear in his music today. Artist like NWA, The Ghetto Boys, and 2pac music spoke to Larry as a youth directly, he felt even though these artist were from different corners of the world, the struggles were much the same and now embodies the sound track of his life. Through Larry’s adolescent years all he knew was violence until about 10 years ago. He used music as vehicle to lead him in a new direction and it changed his life dramatically. Mr. Brown first experiment with music came from his newly formed group called “The DGBz”, this union lasted about three years before falling apart. However, this did not stop Larry but prepared him for the journey ahead. Larry’s past endeavors included performing live at the, Liquid Blue, Club 112, The Amphitheater, and The Underground . These opportunities lead to publicity where he landed interviews and shows on the Hip-Hop 411 TV and Public Access Television. Later, this domino effect kept going which allowed him to open up for famed artist like, Gucci-Man, Rich-Boy, Lil’ Wayne, and a local house whole artist called Rated-R. Larry more recent brush with success came in the form of showcase audition, with three major labels Slip-N-Slide, Universal, and Atlantic Records which displayed interest in his talents. Now a father, husband and most of all a focused artist and producer, Larry directs all of his energy into perfecting his craft. He emphasizes and live by his motto,” This mission is not just for me, it’s for my entire family and failure will not be an option, only success.” Da Silencer
