Bio

I'm Adam Rasmussen, a twenty-something with a passion for playing guitar and writing songs. I've never considered myself a singer, but when you're writing songs it's kind of a requisite. I prefer playing lead guitar and consider myself an acoustic rocker. My influences are as varied as one can imagine; alternative, blues, country, reggae, ska, rock, rock and roll, rockabilly, rap, folk, celtic, classical, and just about any other genre around. Guitar is my passion, but I also play (or at least attempt to play) bass, mandolin, and piano. My dream is to be a professional song-writer. Some would call that being a sell-out, but I know that I'm no professional singer, and if it's possible to make a living doing something I love, while influencing popular culture at the same time, then why shouldn't I? That being said, all songs are up for sale, so if you hear something you like, but think it would sound better sung by your own voice, you're probably right.
