The Story so far! From a very young age Joey was musically minded, in fact, at just the age of 9 years old he was jamming songs on his £25 guitar that his older brother bought him! Over the years Joey has developed a unique feel of all styles of music, picking up experience with Bands, Solo Artists and his own music. Playing the prestige, popular venues all over the UK. He was also hired for a lot of session work in the UK and overseas. After so much experience Joey Oskys decided to record songs that he wrote himself from a young age, and doing so, with his original and meaningful lyrics and vocal melodies, he has finally found his true vocation in music. Also he has a wonderful feel for instrumentals, that is a big part Of Joey’s music as he loves to play the guitar over musical ideas and not leave anything to waste. Influences: Range from the sublime to the loud. From the ridiculous, to the embarrassing (“It was cool at the time” says Joey). His first love is RAWK AND ROLL!!!! However, we have all branched off into our own worlds at different times. For example he has a penchant for not only the sweet tones of a Rock lead solo, but also the screaming of the Foo Fighters and Nirvana, to the Reggae Punk of The Police. Also has the ability to bring it down a notch or two when he picks up an acoustic guitar, with the warm, sweet sound of a Spanish guitar. The list is endless….. Joey loves Blues, Jazz, Rock, generally anything he can tap his feet to and sing along with. [color="blue"][/color][indent]
