In the beginning we started playing secular music, hoping to throw in a few of our Christian songs. That’s when we all broke up, some moved away, some wanted to stay only to play secular music. So we eventually broke up completely. The few remaining members that stayed said, “ If we are going to play music, let us play for GOD.” So we grabbed the songs we had written and left the secular ones behind. The more we played GOD’s music the more the Holy Spirit started to speak to us, moving us to write and play more music showing the wisdom and knowledge of the ways of GOD also how things we do make Him feel, such as the grieving of the Holy Spirit or treading on the Blood. Some are a sort of check list to live by. We also found that the music was making a difference in our lives, the more we listened to and played the easier it was to deal with everyday problems. As problems arose a song would start playing in our head and would help us cope with smile. We wanted to share it with others. When we went to choose a name, I remembered a friend that wanted to make a button that said “I am a Christian Under Construction” and I liked it as a name for the band. I went to this friend to ask if we could use it, he said, “ I would be honored if you use it for the name of your band.” That’s how we became Christians Under Construction
