Fear the aSSault!. Hailing from the Limestone City, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Society’s Sorrow is a 4-piece metal outfit intent on sending a message that must be heard. With their hard-hitting songs and energetic live performances, they give metal fans an overdose of of the music they crave. They will assault your senses with their core influences from classics like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, as well as modern influences such as Disturbed, Slipknot, Lamb of God and BLS. The result is very classic sounding metal heavily rooted in classic thrash, but heavily influenced by modern hard rock and metal and relevant to today. Music which rages with the gritty, thrashy heavy metal prevalent in the burgeoning metal underground. Mostly for the more aged metalhead. Low-frilled, high-fueled, it's pure and powerful thrash that isn't afraid to pay homage while standing precariously on the edge of their own creativity.
