‘Exceptional’ – Acousticnight.com ‘A Breath of Fresh Air’ – Klaus Voormann Sam\'s first studio release, a three track acoustic ep recorded with producer David Watson, began life as a demo but soon brought Sam to the attention of some of the UK\'s best live promoters. A UK tour with Mexican duo Rodrigo y Gabriella embarked Sam on a string of broad reaching supports from Nouvelle Vague at the Pigalle and Pete Doherty at his landmark sellout RAH show, for Dot Allison at her UK album launch and for Lyle Lovett at the Royal Festival Hall. Sam\'s debut single, You May Not Mean to Hurt Me (But You Do) , produced by David Watson, won the EMA award for Best Folk Song, which Sam again the following with the title track of his upcoming debut album, \"One For The Road.\" \"One For The Road\", featuring some special guest appearances including Kamila Thomson and Neil Cowley, was released in september 2013 and is available from all major retailers.
