Instead of nodes of plum there is hints of funk. In the absence of Oak overtones there is blues. You may not find any aromas of vanilla or black cherries but you will find a fiercely passionate trio performing powerful instrumental music. Like a great wine there are many layers of depth to this bands sound. Rock, jazz, blues, Latin, fusion, reggae and a touch of metal have all been used to describe the MSU Orchestra's performance. Maybe its a mellow groove start just to warm the audience up to a rich, complex layer of diverse sound that can touch on all of the above genre's, leading the audience through a diverse musical sound-scape while always leaving the fans musically satisfied.
