[b]SMART ARTISTS[/b] are an Australian independent modern rock band regarded by many as one of the most dynamic up and coming bands in the country. The bands formula for success is simple ….. avoid trends, write cool songs and deliver an infectious brand of modern rock full of catchy chorus and crunchy guitars. Sounds simple really. With 7 radio hits (5 from their 2007 debut album 'Never Too Late') and 2 tours of New Zealand, 2008 saw the band acquire placements of their songs with several production companies that has seen their music appear worldwide. Smart Artists songs are now played on over 200 radio stations throughout 20 different countries. With their eyes set firmly on consolidating their recent successes, the band is busy wooing audiences along the east coast of Australia. Following the success of 'Annie', a new single 'Inside Moves' was released in March 2009. The new album 'Highway Blonde' is slated for an October 2009 release.
