Terence McLeod started learning the guitar in 2000 and after mastering some basic chords found a natural inclination to write lyrics. In 2005, after guitar teachers suggested he had potential as a songwriter, he took a sabaatical from his gardening business to do a HND in Songwriting at The Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Since achieving the qualification he has continued to learn the guitar and write more songs. He is inspired and by observing people and the world around him. Mark Flannery who worked with U2 in the early days in Dublin said, he has the ability to observe the human condition, write direct heartfelt lyrics, marry these with simple music and perform the songs in an open and honest way. His songs have been played on interenet radio in America, Europe and the United Kingdom and has reached No 1 twice in The Unsigned Chart.
