Thanks for all the messages and comments also I really appreciate them. Chuck Veer Chuck Veer of Freeport is back to makin music his life. At the moment he’s writing music and tryin to get a band together. "I was inspired by my father who played music all my life. I want to take my father’s accomplishments and hopefully get them to another level," he explained when asked about his new CD "Eternal Roses." He wrote all the songs on this CD. It can be purchased for $15.00 Chuck was born in England while his father was serving time there in the Air Force. The family later moved to Savanna, GA "So I tell people i’m british born and Southern bred and stuck in Illinois," he tells everyone. In the music world, he admires many greats- and was inspired by many of them. On his list are Elvis (The King) Presley, Waylon Jennings, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, - and the list goes on. His first guitar, says Chuck, was a christmas present. He was 8 years old that year. "I learned alot by watching my dad. I started playing with a band called Blackhawk Bucks. I was just 18 when i made the rounds with them in Wisconsin, playing alot of polka music." After that he and a friend put a band together called "Night Wing." Thats when he made tape of himself singing and playing his songs. Larry Sanders, who heard his tape asked to record him. Now Chuck is workin on getting another group together and workin with agents, managers, and promoters. He’s under the tutelage of Scir Rock Inc... a local recording studio owned by Larry Sanders. More about me, I am a big ELVIS collector, Thousands of dollars in stuff. Im always writin new music. And my manager Nathan Veer has been workin so hard to get my music out there and to get it heard.
