Originally from Tampa, Florida (although he has spent the last 10+ years developing himself as a musician in Tulsa, Oklahoma) Process-D, A.K.A. Chris Shendo, A.K.A. Josh Phillips, has had quite a ride up to this point. With both his parents being musicians (his dad, guitar and flute, his mother, cello, mandolin, and guitar) his entire life was music. The first instrument he took a swing at was the flute, and quickly began developing his musical skills, within one year playing along by ear to his mother's Jethro Tull and Dave Valentine albums. From there, the sky was the limit. He found himself blessed with the ability to pick up almost any instrument, and within hours, the ability to play that instrument fluently. However, the story hasn't just been happy. In August of 2004, Josh woke to the news that his sister had been raped and murdered in her apartment. The news of his sister's death threw him into a downward spiral of heavy drinking, heavy pot smoking, and moderately heavy pharmeceutical drug use. Reality hit right before it was to late to turn around, unfortunately in the form of a DUI. Josh has been known to remark, "That DUI saved my life. If I hadn't been arrested, there's no doubt I would not be where I am today". After that, Josh learned how to turn his sadness and anger into beautiful music, stopping only to remember to live life to its fullest, in honor of his sister. Having spent almost a decade perfecting his sound, and with the recent move to Orlando to attend Full Sail and the drive, determination, and ability to become a known producer in the breaks capital of the southeast (if not the U.S.), Process-D has begun a new, and with no doubt exciting chapter of his life.
