Presents, P.R.O.S.P.E.R PEOPLE RISING OVER SAME PROBLEMS EMPHASIZING REALNESS Nora Lee Marion A.K.A Queen Earnest Lee Smith A.K.A Mr. Xcitement John Lee Steward A.K.A Jaedon How we managed to pull that one off, we really don’t know, we guess that was our parents way of rising over the same problem to come up with a middle name, or God's Plan for us to come together and emphasize his realness. Prosper is the perfect name for this group, because everything that has tried to form against us has failed and not been victorious. With the help of God we have overcome alot of heartbreaks and pains as a group and individuals, and each trial we have faced has made our faith in God even stronger. Prosper met at a youth night service, where the female of the group "Queen" was performing a song as a solo artist. When the service was over "Mr. Xcitement" of the group Prosper, and a featured artist on Proper’s first cd "Life" came up to her and began to tell her how good her performance was. The church had a New Years service coming up, so the members of Prosper and three of the featured artist on the P.R.O.S.P.E.R'S cd "LIFE" began to come up with something we could do together as a group that’s when we came up our first song we ever wrote, performed, and recorded as a group. Our first performance was special because we had no idea the impact the words of that song would have on people, but the crowd went wild from the 5 year olds to the 75 year olds. The parents, their children the pastor, and his wife all were bouncing to Life. Right at that point you could feel the anointance of God began to move throughout the church, and we knew something great was to come. Prosper has had the opportunity to perform in Chicago, Atlanta and Florida, where we had the opportunity to work with "Ms. Laurice Benjamin" who met Prosper in Atlanta, and was responsible for Prospers opportunity to perform in Florida. Prosper has had the pleasure of working with Durelle Hagan, A very gifted producer and CEO of 2Cool Records, D’rel Nelson a Very talented R&B artist featured on One of Prospers songs called "Why”, Joseph Fulton of Hot City Entertainment, Faye Thompson of Praise Promotions, and Flemming Ivory of Memphis Youth Performance Arts Company. We have had the opportunity to perform at the hurricane Katrina victims benefit concert, where we met Michael Davis from 95.7 who were very happy with our performance. We have lived up to our name P.R.O.S.P.E.R and plan to continue to do just that through ministry and our everyday lives.
