The Toniks have been writing and performing together in their present form for just under a year. They have been cast as the antidote to a rainy day. Quintessentially British, their sound is unabashedly bold and bright, and coming through your windows. Sparking interest from inside the industry, the band have found support from the likes of Graham Dominy (Eurythmics, Razorlight, Imelda May) who provided them with free studio time after hearing their sound. The band also garnered a Number 1 and Number 3 People’s choice chart prior to their first live show, a promising sign of things to come. From empathetic pop lyrics to catchy hooks, some critics have compared the band to predecessors such as The Feeling and Blur. Others have noted similarities in style to influences like The Beatles and The Jam.
