MY MIND. \\\" Eric Dwayne - BMI Nashville I started out as a lead guitarist in rock bands at the age of 14 singing harmonies and an occasional cover tune. After years of traveling highways that covered 1/2 the country I began developing into my own thus getting out of the club scene. In short, I had my time in that market, and quite frankly could not stand to walk into another club. The road was great for my ego but over time wore me down, and over the years after playing hundreds of cover songs I learned that writing my own music is what truly made me happy. Don\\\'t get me wrong, the road is great for musicians in terms of getting them out there and really helps develop ones skills, but it does indeed have a price. The live musician is one of an infinite wild ride, all fun and games, sex drugs and rock and roll right? Let\\\'s just say it has it moments, but the ride will come to a stop eventually and hopefully you will have survived what will appear to you later as one big blur. I have seen many faces and places in my life so I have plenty to write about. I am just here to bring my ideas to people who want to listen and perhaps become inspired. Music is the source of my energy and existence as it is for so many others who have those creative thoughts that pump through the veins daily. Happy Writing... E.D.
