Bio
PLEASE VOTE FOR JAKE ROYALL! Jake started to teach himself guitar @ the age of 16. His original poetry flowed into song form. After spending a few months homeless & on the road w/his family @ the age of 17, Jake spent some time at the Maine College of Art. Unable to bare the commute and cost, he quit in order to spend time perfecting the music that he was more passionate about. A true perfectionist about his work, Jake practiced for hours on end, by himself, in a basement in PA. He hosted and performed at open mics and was showcased @ a venue of the Maine Songwriters Association. Jake's song style leans heavily on creative key changes, catchy rhythms and meaningful lyrics. He has always taken a serious, soulful approach to singing and song-writing. Tom and Jake combined forces in the summer of '06 as "Royall". Tom creates inspired bass riffs and solos that make for a unique combination & sound. He has inspired the band with his ability to improvise over a difficult rhythm guitar line and has helped focus energy towards performing gigs @ places like the Gothic Theater in Denver and Live at Lunch on KRFC Ft. Collins, CO Give us a listen, and give yourself a "ROYALL EXPERIENCE" Discography "Every Time" from "Songs for the Aftermath" as well as "At Least" enjoy radio play on 1360 AM in Philadelphia " The Dr. Lou Radio Hour" Look for Royall on KRFC FM Ft.
