Anne Gomez is a Traditional Celtic singer/songwriter.She often performs to theatre audiences with Trochrague Folk Group.Anne plays mandolin,bodhran & vocals.She is relatively new to song writing but intends to develop this.Anne prefers working in theatre but is flexable & can be found joining in at sessions--she runs a Folk Club in East Kilbride.She also is the organiser of the " Live Folk @..." series,Rutherglen Town Hall,East Kilbride Arts Centre Theatre & Fort Theatre, Bishopbriggs.Anne loves Celtic music in particular,but is open to all genres and will perform any song that she fits the set list..regardless of genre boundaries.She says that as well as being serious about her music...she thrives on the craic & fun of the Folk scene. Anne has a debut album..Wan Mair Mile..a 15 track mix of Traditional Celtic, 6 of her own songs , a duet with Dan Chavers(USA),a track with Scottish Children performing Glasgow street songs.There is a kind o' Glasgow tribute threaded through the album...Available @ Songcast;Scotloads: CDBaby.The album has had great reviews so far and including from radio presenters in stations listed below.
