Repunza is originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Born to musical influence parents. Both her parents were well known. Appearing on major radio stations throughout the state.At an early age Repunza singing caught the attention of her pastor. He promptly invited her to join the choir. But her talent didn’t stop there. Her mother felt that Repunza voice sounded like the melody of the piano. So at the age of 9 she was taught to play the piano. By the age of 12, Repunza had studied all the elements of the music notes. With very little help She taught herself how to play the saxophone and the drums. She quickly rose in rank in her high school band. The band teacher was so impressed with Repunza talent. He quickly promoted her to drum major. She continued to amaze her peers throughout college. While attending college Repunza’s mother died. They were very close; they were like sisters. Repunza made the tough decision to leave her remaining family and friends and move to Georgia. In order to pursue her lifelong dream of singing. While in Georgia she met the Owner of Dilliagaf Records. After hearing her sing. He immediately brought her into his studio and begun working on her first album. She was then introduced to Big Earl. He loved her voice so much he featured her on his latest album. While recording Chocolate Man. She caught the attention of Perry Guest (Son of William Guest of Gladys Knight and the Pips). He quickly called his father whom drove down to meet Repunza and was honored.
