James Thomas is an assembly of five very talented studio musicians. They have worked together for ten years, providing sounds for the most popular bands in the country. They work from Nashville to Los Angeles; well paid and sought after for mending other artist sounds when their music gets stale. Life for the band members was pretty much on track until one day several years ago they met Jerry Thomas. Jerry had been "ghost writing" hits for record company's artists for some ten years. Jerry had signed an agreement not to disclose his clients or the material he produced and wrote for them on a song by song contract. During this time Jerry wrote many songs for himself and now he co-writes songs with the studio musicians who eventually formed the band 'James Thomas". All the musicians in the band still work in studios through out the States , for personal reasons they only allow their first names to be used in the bands bio. The keyboardist name is David, David and Jerry are mix down artists and all tracks of the new "Ocean Song" album/CD were mixed down and tailored by the pair. The lead guitarist name is Pat, Pat has played in many bands in the south, and has collected many awards for his studio work. The Drummer's name is Robbie, his hard work has fashioned the sound to a new and different split from Rock/Country/ and Pop. The Bass guitarist, Arthur has heavy country influences and plays the flat top Martin, with Jerry, on the track number eight, the song named "Pledges of Love ". Jerry began singing for several local North Carolina and Georgia bands playing through the South. Jerry had always been the front man, but grew tired of the bands, coping other famous groups. James Thomas were performing in local clubs while not in the studio, but lacked a strong front man singer-guitarist. Jerry was thrilled to be working with such talented musicians and the band kept the name "James Thomas" with Jerry joining them, they don't care if it causes confusion. Jerry plays a J-200 Gibson flat-top and sings lead vocals in all the tracks.
