Juliana Fraioli's hot brand of pop brings a fresh, new sound to contemporary music. From beautifully melodic, well-crafted ballads to pop and hip-hop grooves with energy and character, Juliana writes and performs songs of passion and angst, fantasy and fun, all through the eyes of a wise young person. With early training in piano, violin, flute, and voice, Juliana grew up with a classical guitarist father and singer mother. She has spent much of her life in international circles as her parents performed, lectured, and traveled in Europe, Latin and South America, and the Caribbean. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Juliana's favorite nursery music ranged from Latin to lullabies with a strong dose of Mozart. Her own music is mainstream American, but if you listen closely you can hear some of her early influences. Her vocals are both sweet and sultry, her range wide and expressive. Juliana's lyrics can be heartfelt or sassy and she performs them like an angel with an attitude. Juliana has always experimented with eclectic musical styles ranging from pop and hip-hop to R&B and rock. She continues to evolve, both as a singer and a songwriter, as she works toward developing her own distinct sound. Most recently, she is pursuing a new project combining strong urban beats and more traditional blues-influenced vocals. Juliana looks forward to a long musical career.
