Bio

Bill Mabrey is a singer/songwriter living in Alaska. His music ranges from soft and sweet to loud and aggressive, his lyrics from humorous and fun to serious and thoughtful. We call it Psychedelic Roots Rock, a sort of rural stoner rock. Bill started playing guitar and bass when he was nine and was playing professionally by the time he was thirteen. Growing up in southern California he honed his chops playing in the dog eat dog music business there, becoming one of the most sought after musicians in San Diego and Orange counties. Besides playing in some of the top live acts in the club scene and in pit orchestras for theater, Bill was also in great demand for local recording projects, he has appeared on many other independent artists' recordings and in radio commercials. Bill spent many years on the road playing the western half of the United States and found himself inspired by the great state of Alaska. He now lives there, performing 5 to 6 nights a week and has become more even more prolific as a songwriter. He released a self produced CD "An American Love Story" in 2006 and is currently working on his new CD "Naughty Things". The songs featured here are a collection of songs from the first CD and preproduction demos of songs intended for the new CD. [color="green"]
