THE BIO OF JOE Mazaradi I was born in Kingston Jamaica on February 2, 1981. At the age of 13, I moved to Miami Fl where I began in my Hip Hop Journey. Music came into my life when I was in the 7th grade, where I began free styling and banging on cafeteria tables. Kids would gather around to hear what I was saying. It surprise everyone that I was from Jamaica and able to flow like I was born in America. A few years later, I started a rap group called NOB (No One Better) and we would go to local parties and perform original songs over instrumentals. The crowd loved our music and that help boost up our popularity in high school. After high school, I decided to build a home studio and continue making music. I wanted to take my music to the next level and work on an album to see how people would react to my music. I then did a song called “Let Me Hit That”. I took this song to the local clubs and gave it to the DJ to see if they would play the song and see how people would feel it. And to my surprise, people started feeling the song. So the club owners would ask me to perform the songs on certain nights to attract customers, since I was becoming popular in the streets of Miami. From There, I started making beats and sell them to local artist in the neighborhood. With the money I got from that, I used the money to improve my studio to give my music a better quality. I then set another goal, which was to expand my fan base. I took my music to Tallahassee Fl, where it was welcome. I then did songs with local artist and sold a few beats to the people in Tallahassee Fl. From There, I went to Atlanta GA, where I hooked up with a old friend from Miami and we started working on music together. We would do open mic on Thursday in Down Town Atlanta. The open mic was becoming a popular thing. Many people would show up and supports us at our shows. At that point, I decided to work on a solo album called “ Ben Filler Stacking Paper”. In 2005, I moved back to Miami Fl to promote my solo album “Ben Filler Stacking Paper”. I got hooked up with a group called “Snake Eye Crew”. This group does reggae and hip-hop music. To promote the album, we would have parties and perform there. Each person that attends our parties would pay $10 to get inside the party and receive a copy of the album, where this helps to expand our fan base. We would also take the songs to the local underground radio stations for them to play the songs on the air, which the feedback was positive. We would also go to South Beach and pass out copies of our singles. My next goal from here is to continue to make great music and expand my fan base from a few hundred people to the entire world.
