Lamina Rails was formed in 2005 by the guitar player Victor Anechini and the vocalist Michelle Christine. The idea of forming a band came up when both of them, envolved in separate musical projects, decided to create something together, influenced mainly by great female-fronted bands like After Forever and Within Temptation. In 2007 they recorded and produced their first demo. With five songs the CD was distributed by few stores, but it was never officially released. Now, they're back with a new demo: The Queen's Fall . The band is currently looking for a label to support and promote their work. They distinguish from other female-fronted bands by presenting a more raw and straightforward sound, influenced by rock, death, trash, doom and gothic, inspired by neo-paganism ideas. Most recently Lamina Rails took part in a project with other independent bands - The Fortaleza Metal Compilation Vol IV, supported by Anaites/ZDP, which is broadcasting their music all over Brazil and other South Americancountries.
