I was born a curly haired red head in the city of Anderson South Carolina, number 2 of 3 girls. Yes, the "Monkey - In - The - Middle"! I actually earned that title, though(with the exception of throwing...well, you know.) Since I could barely walk I have been fascinated with my Mother's piano. I will try to locate some photos, but my Parents have pics of me standing on my tippie toes at the age of a little over 12 months, trying my hardest to touch those pearly white keys. My Family is a tight and strong family unit, raised and centered around the morals and standard of the Good Book. I am grateful to them for their persistence in making sure that I stay involved with our Ministry through my teen years. That had to have been tough. I grew up in Orlando Florida and moved to Georgia when I was 16. Of course I hated to leave my friends, but what killed me the most was leaving the Chorus I had been involved in and had so much fun being a part of. I am 26 years old, with an extreme passion for songwriting and singing. I can't imagine having any other outlet to unbind the shackles of sorrow and pain of life or to express the awe and inspiration of it. I just recently auditioned for American Idol Season 7 here in Georgia, but I was rejected. Oh, well. One door shuts, I believe another one will open. Thus, My Music Showcase. Hope everyone enjoys.
