Will Sabo bounced around the southeast playing music until he found his way home to Jacksonville,Fl.Once home, he began writng songs for a new project.This project would be based on the music he had listened to his whole life, from bands right out of his home town.The vision was a "NEW BREED" of southern rock.He began playing with a series of guitar players until he happened upon Jambo Pickenzz. Jambo had been playing heavy metal for a number of years, in and around the area.Once together, they began developing a signature sound to compliment the music and lyrics that Sabo had written. They threw together a couple of journeymen to gig the band, but a permanent line-up was yet to be forged.Tom Schaller had been playing in a lucrative cover band when he joined up, seeing the potential in the band and the music.With Tom on-board, Thirteenth Stone began making a name for themselves around Florida as one of the premier independent acts. Thrown together quickly, their first CD "Rainmaker" defined their sound and solidified them in the local scene.Despite the obvious production glitches that a shoestring budget creates,it's the music that shines through with lyrics that will put you in a place so close to home, you'll smell the bacon cooking.They found a drummer named Jimmy Willis who just stepped in, stepped up and helped carry the ball Now, the only thing standing in their way is the lack of exposure that plagues all indie bands.These guys have the experience,maturity and presence of a top shelf act.They also bring a high energy stage show and an emotional vocal presentation that will leave you asking,"When is the next show?"
