It's always about been words and music for me. I can think of no better way to express your feelings in a way that others can feel it too. I sing because it connects me to my soul. While I've written about the usual things like love and heartbreak, I chose to showcase these two songs because they are close to my heart. The first is about fallen heroes in the wake of 9/11 and the second is about the need to stand together in the face of the tragedy. The country music genre is what I most identify with. The songs are about people and their basic, real life emotions. Singing has been and always will be an integral part of my life but it is as a songwriter that I truly hope to be successful. The country music stars I most admire and hope to emulate are Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Martina McBride and Trisha Yearwood. It would be an extreme honor for me to have one of these great artists perform one of my songs. Ana
