Bio
The Latin-Rock explosion began, when Santana first burst onto the music scene in the late sixties and early Seventies. While Santana was becoming popular in the West Coast, a young group of Hispanic musicians from the Bronx in New York City wanted to build upon the Caribbean roots of Afro Cuban Jazz, Rhythm and Blues and New York City Salsa. The group was called Seguida. Seguida's music [link="http://www.seguida.net"] click here for official seguida website [/link] is a unique mix of funk, hip hop, rock, r&b, salsa and jazz. Seguida is releasing a new cd in the summer of 2007. Building on the strong foundation laid down by the original members of Seguida...present day bandleader Steve Adorno, Record Producer Jay Henry and original founding fathers Lou Perez and Randy Ortiz, along with vocalists Lori Rose and Dawn Savio are bringing Seguida into the future. Seguida is releasing their long awaited album SEGUIDA III. Executive producers/recording engineers Jay Henry, Steve Adorno have been recording at Jay's Native Life Studios in San Diego, California and at Kevin's ZPI Studios in Queens, N.Y. Many special guests have been added to the already powerful Seguida lineup. Joining veteran Seguida vocalists Lori Rose and Dawn Savio, will be International Latin Recording Superstar Kevin Ceballo .
