Mohammed's debut album "mojo" sold a mere 3,000 copies but it was his second album in 2004 "Street Symphony" which shipped in excess of 40,000 units with a streak of hits on Soundclick.com's International Internet Music Charts. In 2006, Salem released "Ritual of Love" which shipped over 63,000 units and recieved heavy airplay and club play around the world. Mohammed has now achieved 6 No.1 singles on the International Internet Music Charts on Soundclick.com and scored 7 Top 10 singles from one album (Street Symphony). He has also won an accolade in 2004 amongst the best poets and songwriters in the world from the International Society of Poets. Mohammed has also won the Coca-Cola award in 2006 for best selling album of the year for an unsigned artist (Ritual of Love). Mohammed Salem is currently embarking on his first ever self-funded world tour known as "The Chronicles of Mimi World Tour" which is to promote his fourth studio set "The Chronicles of Mimi" to be released November 12. The first single "Stained & Lonely" is set to be released in September when the tour kicks off. The song "Uncomfortable" is also a track taken off the forthcoming new album.
