Born in [b]1981[/b], "[b]Curtis Mark Edwards[/b]" aka [b]Cutty[/b], relocated from "[b]La Horquetta[/b]" at the age of 6 to live with his dad in "[b]Diego [/b][b]Martin"[/b] .Where, he attended r.[b]Diego Martin boys c. primary school[/b] ,and later on [b]St.Anthony's College[/b]. During this time he developed a love for music, he joined the choirs of both schools, as well as becoming interested in poetry and in this after he graduated, [b]Cutty[/b] began to persue his passions, his first release [b]"Rain"[/b] though not popular at home in [b]Trinidad[/b], was well recieved in places like [b]"New York and Boston"[/b] , but he had not yet found his style, and when he did no one supported it's difference, it was not traditional, it wasn't soca, those were some of things said , so it was not until he moved back to [b]La Horquetta[/b], and met up with a childhood friend [b](Jabari Charles) [/b],one of the founders of a then newly formed and unknown studio [b](Studio 53)[/b] that things began to change, [b]Cutty[/b] finally found a place where differrence was accepted and encouraged. So now armed with his belief of what soca music should be, and his experiences in love both good and bad, [b]Cutty[/b] began to work. Joined with [b]Angelo[/b], and [b]Kwasi[/b] as well as [b]Jabari[/b], [b]Cutty[/b] was ready to make his move, releasing the biggest groovey soca world wide for the [b]year 2006 [/b]by the name of [b]"Let's Just" [/b],then releasing his first reggae song that same year called [b]"All Alone"[/b] which is now among one of the [b]best reggae songs [/b]in [b]Trinidad[/b] for that year. So now with the acceptance of his music and the love of his fans, [b]Cutty [/b]continues to strive to be at his best. So to his fans thank you and remember, he'll keep doing it for you.
