Source: newland.in.ua Rock-band “New Land” started its creative activity in Kremenchug, Poltava reg. in 2005. Artem is the composer of music and the author of major lyrics. The original style of “New Land” was influenced by the strong vocal of Elena. Thus the band formed its style, which was the mix of classical music, academic vocal and masterly musicians. The style was named Neoclassic Power Metal. This year New Land has had its first gigs in Kremenchug, rapidly gaining popularity. One of the most outstanding were the concerts with “Labyrinth”, and large-scale project “The olden Times” which best bands of Kremenchug participated in. During 2006 year, New Land participates in festivals, gathering positive feedbacks from fans and appreciation of organizers. In brief: March 23 - “Musical Island” (Kharkov, “Fort”) September 09 - “Mazepa-fest” (Poltava) September 15-16 - “Dnepr-smoke motor-rock festival ” (Dneprodzerzhinsk, open-air) In October the band started recording the first promo-album, which would be released in three languages.
