Shattered Remains is an unsigned underground metalcore band from New Haven, Connecticut, formed in late September 2005 shortly after the break up of The Seven Deadly Sins. The Sins was a small metal band formed by friends living in different towns from Milford, Connecticut before Shattered Remains came into existence. The band name Shattered Remains was chosen on the night of the last Seven Deadly Sins show, when The Sins disband and split in two. Since then, Shattered Remains has preformed at many different venues and events such as; Savin Rock Fest (which we were banned from because moshing is not allowed), Battle of the Bands, Webster Theater, FYI, The Space, The Devon Duckpin Bowling Ally, The Puppet House Theater, and many bars throughout Connecticut. Some of the members have changed over time, but we all still share the same passion for music that we had when we first started out. We don't care how popular we are, or how much cash we get. We play music to express our views, thoughts, or emotions in conjunction with our creativeness. Shattered Remains never gives up the chance to play a show, and we enjoy playing for a cause. Like a show that will benefit the struggle to cure cancer, or cut down on green house gases...We just want to play some music and have fun doing it! We strive to make our music meaningful, interesting, easy to relate to, and free thinking.
