Kanetta Denise Medford was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Medford is the newest christian music singer poised to breakout onto the faith based music scene. Kanetta has been preparing and traveling down this inspirational music road ever since her mother started working with her and her sisters at the young age of 4. By the age of 12 she knew she wanted to be a singer and travel throughout the world to share what God has given her. She started singing with other groups trying to find where she belonged. But by the age of 25 she knew she might have to walk this walk alone. So now she stands alone, with the help of God, willing to do what it takes to go to the next level. So she has put her faith in God into action by learning how to play the keyboard and produce her music. She has been writing her own lyrics, with the help of the Holyghost. Kanetta is married to Mr. Louis Medford and together they have three daughters, Kiara, Janiiah, N\\\'kya and one son Matthias. Her husband has also been an inspiration in her life and they have put their trust in God, and He is doing the miraculous. (Psalms 56:11- In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me) She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She enjoys meeting new people. She is currently attending Christian Stronghold Church where the Overseer is Hal Johnson. Chosen and called by God to sing under the annoiting. God is using Pastor Johnson and his congregation to shape Kanetta into who she is today. He has also used other pastors and ministers to prophesy the word of God over Kanetta’s life. Kanetta is beginning a new chapter in her life. She wants to make more songs that impact and changes people lives. She wants the songs that God gives her to heal the sin sick soul, the broken hearted, set the captives free, break the bands of the wicked, and to deliver the demon possessed. She believes God is a God of the present and he\\\'s doing great things in her life. Kanetta has come to the conclusion that she has to totally trust God. (Psalms 37:5 - Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.) She has a heart for God\\\'s people and wants to see the people of God free. When she sings the healing and peace of God touches his people. She started writing at a young age and God has used her to impact many lives through her songs and in her personal life. She is ready to take on the world by the power and anointing of God, because when God is for her who can be against her. Now she is ready to step out into the unknown, stepping out totally on faith and believing the word God spoke is true!
